Day one of the NZO started out with good winds but after the briefing the winds had become eratic. The day was spent trying to get racing going with the wind coming and going but not holding long enough for a full race. A number were started but called as the wind dropped away to nothing. The duece was brought out for some more speed.
For Day 2, the wind stayed in all day, although moving around quite a lot. Some raced 4 metres, others with a 5.5. 33 races completed before finishing at 6.15pm. Some real exciting racing and fast trips down the taxiway before hitting the grass to slow and do a 180 turn to head back.
Day 3: A full day of racing.
