Dear NZBAI Members
Please find attached the Notice of Meeting & Agenda of the 2014 NZBAI Annual General Meeting, which will be held at 9.00 am on Sunday 10th August 2014, at the Blokart International Showroom, Papamoa.
In addition, associated with the AGM, a Teams Racing event will also be held at Blokart Heaven on Saturday and Sunday, 9th & 10th of August. This is always great fun, adds a different perspective to racing, and will include a dinner on Saturday night. Further details of the teams racing are provided on the NZBAI website and for those that don’t have a team, try contacting the Race Convener, Russell Harray who may be able to assist with organising some ad hoc teams.
In the interests of the future development and growth of the sport, I encourage our members to attend the AGM – and that you give serious consideration to nominating keen and enthusiastic committee members and office bearers. We would like to get at least one representative from each club – it really is in the best interest of the sport to have wide representation and input – and is a way to ensure that all clubs have a say. If you’re a bit unsure or would like further information, please talk to or email existing Committee members – also check the BAI website or contact me for other contact details.
- Nominations for NZBAI committee positions must be submitted to me (see contact details below) in the form prescribed, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting (copy of form attached). This may be by email but if signatures are not included, further signed forms need to be received prior to the start of the AGM.
- Any motions proposed for the meeting should be submitted to me in writing at least 28 days prior to the AGM (that is by Sunday, 13th July, 2014).
