The 2016 Teams racing will be held this year at Ardmore by the Auckland club for the first time.
Teams racing is a great fun, you race against 2 other teams. You can also use the rules to apply some strategy as the grass is not an obstruction, so its good practice applying rules to safely force someone from another team onto the grass or away from a mark. Of course while you are in this little battle, the other team is passing on the inside.
Club teams are to be of even ability – which makes it a great learning experience as the more experienced team members let all their go fast secret’s out! So it’s a great day of fun sailing and comradery.
